After being certified 100% USDA certified Organic since 2010…we have decided to stop getting certified by Oregon Tilth starting Jan 2023. They are a great organization and do a great job in this role and we support the Organic movement. Practicing Organic methods for the last 13 years has taught us how to farm with little inputs and emphasize health of the land, plants, animals which translates to health of the cattle and healthful nutrient Hardgrass Beef. We will continue to practice the exact same methods but will not be asking Oregon Tilth to certify our products. You can be assured that our methods will NOT change or alter and that our products we provide will be held to the highest level and respect for our environment around us.
We cut our pastures in the late fall and utilize this stored feed for supplemental winter feeding during the severe winters or when cattle have trouble getting to the grass due to snow height. We do not use synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides or any chemicals on our property.
No Antibiotics, No added hormones, No herbicides/pesticides, No GMO, No anabolic steroids or sub-therapeutic feed antibiotics have been applied/fed to the animals ever!
